Alcohol Burning Fireplaces. Some alcohol fireplaces are fixed and have chimneys. The flame doesn’t emit smoke, and no chimney, gas lines, or vents are required.

Tests in the test chamber. Fire needs oxygen to burn, and this is just the same with an ethanol fueled fire. This fuel is alcohol based, it creates real flames, and produces no smoke, smell or dangerous chemicals when burning, which is why ethanol fireplaces do not require any special chimney, vent or flue and can be installed virtually anywhere.
